I hope that this email finds you well. I was the recipient of a scholarship from the SML rotary club in 2013 and just thought you guys might like to know where I am now. In May 2015 I completed the general engineering program at Virginia Western and transferred to Virginia Tech for Mechanical Engineering. I graduated from VT in May of 2018 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and I am now working full time as a design/process engineer at Fontaine Modification in Dublin, Va. Here we do modification work on new Volvo road tractors and straight frame trucks that come over from the Volvo assembly plant. This modification work can range from doing simple in-servicing and decal packages to cutting the truck frame and modifying for body installs. It is a great place to work and I really enjoy what I get to do. I just wanted to extend a thanks to you guys at the SML Rotary Club for helping me get started on my education path that ultimately led to where I am now.
